An evening of celebration of WORLD DANCE – May 03, 2013, 6:30pm – STEIN Auditorium, IHC. Conceived and Executed by Sreeni

The evening had two distinct halves –

1.“Dance, through my lens” – For all dance and photo enthusiasts, an interactive session with renowned photographer Sri Avinash Pasricha. The session was facilitated by Eminent Dance Critic Mrs Leela Venkataraman joined by Eminent Bharatanatyam dancer Ms Geeta Chandran

2.Celebration of WORLD DANCE, with brilliant performances by young dancers as well as a few established dancers, showcasing many a dance form from across the world.

The dancers, their nationalities and the dance forms are :

•Nikolina Nikoleski (Croatia – Bharatanatyam and Ballet),

•Carolina Prada (Colombia – Chhau and Colombian),

•Nitisha Nanda (India – Odissi and Belly dancing),

•Quincy Kendell Charles (Trinidad and Tobago – Kathak) and

•Paola Santa Cruz (Peru – Flamenco)
