Parampara 2010 was focused on contemporary interpretations of dance and music.. It feature distinguished exponents… Guru Raja Radha Reddy’s Natya Tarangini Kuchipudi dancers, Guru Gangadhar Pradhans’ konark Natya mandali’s Odissi troupe and Guru kumidhini Lakhia’s Kadamb Kathak group…
The music jugalbandhis were – Pt. Vishwamohan Bhat with Pt. Ronu Majumdar; Violin brothers Ganesh and Kumaresh; Sitar and Veena Jugalbandhi between sitar maestro Gaurav Mazumdar and veena vidhwan Jayanti Kumaresh
Natyataringini, an institution to propagate Kuchipudi dance form with its origins in the coastal Andhra, has been established by Guru Raja and Radha Reddy, with able Kaushalya anchoring it… For little over a decade Tarangini has been organizing Parampara, a festival that brings doyens of Indian dance and music to celebrate the various forms.
This set captures the glimpses of Natyatarangini’s endeavours and performances. It also has a few photos of the disciples who have performed at various other festivals.
