Soulful Bhajan Sandhya of Ganesh Puja at Sujatha and Vineet’s

Every year we await for the Bhajan Sandhya during the Ganesh Chaturthi fortnight at Sujatha and Vineet’s place in Gurgaon. Maharashtrians are born Ganesh bhakts, with the celebrations come Modaks and more.

The soulfulness of the bhakti and melody of every rendition of the evening elevates every participant for sure, as much as it does to me. Music and Dance, you can call me any day! Over a hundred rasiks assembled this year too to relish the soulful bhajan evening this Saturday, many were in a meditative phase swinging to the lyrics, rhythm and melodies.

The evening echoed with the melodius bhajans by the wonderful orchestra of Yash (vocals), Prakash (Tabla) and Dharmesh (Octopad). All three together create magic, as Yash engages the rasiks with his exhortations to join the singing, and indeed he makes everyone join in to add to the vibrancy and spirit of the evening!

I managed to record the bhajans of the evening, one at a time, edited it to present the bouquet of those melodies here, which you may pick and choose to listen to. All the covers may look alike but the bhajan lyrics are there on the cover for you to pick. Kindly, drop in at the end, a comment to let me know how you are feeling after listening to your choices of bhajans.

The bhajan session started at about 6pm and went on till 8:30pm and it followed by the Prashad, a broad spread of delicatessen. Even on the food front, I am sure, most of the attendees look forward to Sujatha’s culinary spread.

An artist at heart, and a magician of an organizer, Sujatha’s home is a delight with her artistic creations at every nook and corner, adorning every wall, in addition to abundant green spaces filled with choices of plants welcoming every one.

Hope you enjoyed a few of these. Kindly leave a comment underneath, about what you think of Sujatha and Vineet’s bhajan Sandhya of Ganesh Puja, that you also had a short darshan of.

If you are keen then you must invite yourself at her place, especially during Ganesh Puja, the coming year. See you then.

Thanks
